I’m a compassionate, curious, and adaptable storyteller with a strong background in facilitation, program management, and community engagement.

I was born and raised in East Vancouver, and I value vulnerability and community in my work.

From a young age, I always knew I was the curious child. I liked to ask questions and demand answers, people watching from a young age and constantly wondering about their stories. The communities I saw represented on TV and in the media didn’t represent the environment I grew up in and the incredible relationships and resiliency that flourish there.

At age 14, I spoke at TEDxRenfrewCollingwood about homelessness and the importance of connecting with those around you. As I grew older, I also began organizing and documenting the Youth Climate Justice movement in 2015 and continued through high school before graduating in 2017. In my grade 12 year, I developed and facilitated my high school’s first ever Feminism Club, with over 50 students and faculty attending the first meeting. I received the Danielle Horwitz Social Justice Scholarship upon graduating, given to one Lower Mainland student each year who has demonstrated skill and passion for social justice initiatives despite difficult circumstances.

I believe that each of us is uniquely valuable to a team based on our lived experiences, and that non-traditional offerings to teams have intrinsic value.

Upon graduation, I spent a year at Langara College in political science before beginning my work with Canucks Sports & Entertainment and the Canucks for Kids Fund.

Since 2015, I’ve also gained experiences with the Pacific National Exhibition, the Youth Excellence Society, YYOGA, and Saleema Noon Sexual Health Educators.
